DVStudios began as Double Vision Studios in Sacramento, California in 1980. 
DV began doing local industrial video production in the early 80's, and grew into doing commercials, corporate training and marketing, and government media production.  DV has published over 100 video titles in the corporate training and consumer special interest categories.  Over 20% of the Fortune 500 owns at least one management training video series produced by DV.  The best selling titles include Legendary Service, Total Quality Management, Situational Leadership, and the Human Edge Series.  As Multi-media and the Internet became a reality, DV began producing web-based training for clients such as Hewlett Packard and General Instruments.   In 1996 DV expanded it’s capabilities into Live Satellite Seminars with the Entrepreneurial Government project, a partnership with the State of California, that trained government employees in 26 states  how to work smarter.  Later DV was instrumental in producing programming for CCN (Church Communication Network), a live satellite network serving churches across the U.S. 

In 2002, seeking new media production challenges the company moved it's operations to Colorado Springs, Colorado.
