founder & President of Double Vision Studios is Mr. Derek Packard.
After 20 plus years in the television production business Derek Packard has stayed abreast of many creative and technical advancements in the industry. Today’s multi-media, animation, and production challenges require leadership that has a breadth of experience. It would be difficult to find someone with direct experience in virtually every phase of production. |

Derek
has written, produced, shot, directed, edited, managed, and even been an on-camera
host for a tremendous variety of television productions over the last 2
decades. Winner
of over 50 awards for creative excellence, Mr. Packard has also overseen
the publishing of over 100 video-training products purchased regularly by
Fortune 500 companies as well as state and federal government agencies.
Mr. Packard has also produced and directed over 350 commercials, and over
1000 hours of corporate training programs as President of Double Vision
Studios. Over
the last several year Derek has help start 2 distance learning networks.
One for the State of California, which saw 15,000 government
managers trained in team
building, total quality leadership, and entrepreneurial government.
The other project saw Derek developing over 20 satellite based
seminars for church leaders across the country for the Church
Communications Network.
Derek
also pioneered web-based training in a special project for Hewlett
Packard. Produced in 5
languages this training course featured streaming video and is distributed
worldwide over the Internet. A committed Christian, Mr. Packard has also completed many Kingdom related video projects. These include a three-part video based training series for Family Life, a large ministry headquartered in Little Rock Arkansas as well as over a dozen unique video and audio products designed to help people get closer to God. The most well know of these is the evangelism video: Are You Going To Heaven? “Heaven” has been seen by millions of people around the world and is hailed by pastors as the best gospel presentation they have ever seen. Other Christian titles produced by Mr. Packard include 70x7, Marriage 911, Pray Yuba-Sutter, Men Without Chests, and the 25 Scriptures audio series.
In the fall of 2001 Derek moved his family to Colorado Springs, Colorado
